LANDMAN CEMETERY (11) LOCATION: Section 31-4S-1W. In approximate center of section. Note: There were twelve graves with box-type tombs in this cemetery plus one grave marked at the head and foot with a fieldstone. Of the box-type markers one was marble (that of Frances L. Landman) and the others were undressed fields tone. Each grave was checked closely for hand-carved initials but only one revealed any kind of identification which appeared to be: "H. J. L." LANDMAN, FRANCES L. - Frances L. Landman Born in Campbell Co. Va., in 1773, Died March 7, 1860. Peace be to your precious soul. Paulina. Note: She was nee Frances Louise Moore. It is unknown who "Paulina" is. Her husband, William Landman, is also buried here in one of the unmarked graves. William was born c. 1780 and died between 1815 and 1830.
