SIVLEY CEMETERY LOCATION: Sec. 13-4S-1W. SW SW SW SW. This cemetery is located off the runway of the old Huntsville Airport, west of South Memorial Parkway. At this time the property belongs to the City of Huntsville and is posted. SIVLEY, LUCY C. - Born May 22, 1822, died Oct. 12, 1834. (Note: Lucy was the daughter of Rebecca Denton and Andrew Sivley and grandaughter of Jacob Sivley who was the senior member of the Sivley family to pioneer to Madison County). SIVLEY, ANDREW - Born Jan. 26, 1783 - died Feb. 21, 1854. Census, October 28, 1850: Siveley, Andrew (68) Va., farmer - $15,000. Rebecca (65) Tenn. SIVLEY, WILLIAM B. - Born Feby. 15, 1826 - died Feby. 28, 1840. (William B. was the son of Andrew and Rebecca). SIVLEY, GEORGE W. - Born Aug. 20, 1820 - died ??" 28, 1837. (Note: The month of death was left blank. He was also a son of Andrew and Rebecca). COOPER, ELIZA A. - Daughter of Andrew & Rebecca Sivley, born Sept. 22, 1813, died Oct. 20, 1833. Note: Eliza A. Sivley -M- John B. Cooper May 31, 1832. Note: The above five inscriptions were all on one tall, marble obelisk. FARIS, WASHINGTON - Washington Faris, born Dec. 22, 1822 - died Feb. 19, 1823. Note: This was the child of William Fares who married a grandaughter of Andrew Sivley. Note: To the north of these graves, but in the same general area, are two small marble markers. They are not believed to relate to the Sivley family. HALE, JOHN - October 22, 1858 - July 29, 1927. HALE, RHODA JANE - Wife of Luther Hale. Aug. 16, 1884 - Oct. 4, 1915. 282 - (504)
