WIGGINS CEMETERY LOCATION: Sec. 4-5S-2W. NW NW NW. Note: All of these inscriptions were on one large, marble obelisk. Individual footstones marked each grave. The initials were on each footstone. The following inscriptions were on the front of the obelisk: WIGGINS, JAMES - Born July 24, 1773 - died August 24, 1831 WIGGINS, SALLY W. - Born April 9, 1781 - died Jan. 9, 1842. DUNN, JOHN - Born August 23, 1787 - died August 8, 1839. WIGGINS, ANN E. - Born May 31, 1811 - died August 18, 1840. WIGGINS, MARY L. - Bom August 31, 1830 - died August 9, 1834. The following inscription was on the side of the obelisk. WIGGINS, JACKEY G. - Wife of Richard A. Wiggins. Born Dec. 8, 1809, died Feb. 4, 1860. Note: Madison County marriage records show that after Jackey's death, Richard A. Wiggins -M- Octavia A. Boss on January 16, 1867. The rest of the inscriptions were on the back of the obelisk. WIGGINS, WILLIAM R. - Bora Nov. 22, 1838 - died Sept. 14, 1839. WIGGINS, SARAH - Bom August 1, 1840 - died Sept. 20, 1842. WIGGINS, JOHN D. - Born Sept. 9, 1842 - died Dec. 14, 1842. WIGGINS, RICHARD - Born April 5, 1846 - died May 23, 1847. WIGGINS, JUNIOUS - Born Dec. 16, 1851 - died Sept. 19, 1858. HOWARD, RICHARD WIGGINS - Richard Wiggins, son of Homer V. & Susan E. Howard, born Sept. 28, 1855 - died Aug. 24, 1856. Census, Nov. 7, 1850: Wiggins, Richard A. (40) N.C., farmer - $25,000. Jacky G. (40) N.C. James A. (18) N.C. (in school) Susan E.
