HOWARD CEMETERY
LOCATION: Section 26-1-1E. NE SE - In a row of trees on north side of Walker Lane.
There are no stones in this cemetery and I do not know who is buried here. I was told by a neighbor that it was the "old Howard Cemetery" but they could give me no further information. It does, however, have a rather interesting history. A small plane crashed in it a few years ago and at one time bank robbers, being chased by the sheriff, tossed a bag of money in the cemetery; the money was recovered.
