MOONEY CEMETERY LOCATION: Section 13-1-1E. SE NE NE E/2 - On line between Sections 13 and 18. Was approximately 1/4 mile northeast of the Mint Road and Mint Springs Road intersection, on rise in clump of trees and brush. The spot has now been cleared, bulldozed, and there are no tombstones or markers of any kind left. I inspected the location during the time it was being cleared and could find no markers with lettering but there were many slate rocks. I have no knowledge as to who was buried here. I was told that it was the Mooney Cemetery but am not even certain of that.
