STELLA BROOKS OBITUARY [From the Huntsville Times] A funeral for Mrs. Stella Brooks, 48, will be at 3:30 p. m. Thursday... Burial will be at Rice Cemetery at New Market. Mrs. Brooks died Tues. at Flint Hospital at Decatur after a long illness. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a life-long resident of Madison County. Survivors include her husband, Claude Brooks; son, Roy L. Brooks; four brothers, Alvin Storey, Ohio; Houston Storey, Ben Storey & Wm. Storey all of New Market; three sisters, Mrs. Vivian Regans and Mrs. Elma Colbert both of Huntland, Tenn; and Mrs. Flora Clark, St. Louis; and a half brother, U. B. Fowler, Birmingham; and two grandchildren. [Dated July 29, 1970]
