C & Obits JONES - Wesley Samson Jones - Died June 29, 1976 Aged 63 years (Funeral marker) JONES - Larry Wayne Jones-July 18, 1958 - July 13, 1976 NOTE: Larry Wayne Jones is the grandson of Wesley Samson Jones. I copied this section at the end of July, 1976, and met the Jones family who were visiting their son's grave. Mr. Jones, Larry Wayne's father, gave me this information. At his grandfather's funeral Larry Wayne said, "I'll see you in a couple of weeks, Grandpa." Two weeks and two days later Larry Wayne was killed in an accident. HERRIMAN - Bertha Herriman. Services for Mrs. Bertha L. Herriman, 81, who died Saturday in the Boaz-Albertville hospital...Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Walter Carter of Birmingham and Mrs. Floyd Tate of Boaz, and two brothers, Otha L. Patterson of Huntsville and Frank A. Patterson of Hazel Green. [from Huntsville News, Oct. 18, 1976.] BOLES - William H. Boles. A funeral for William Herman Boles, 84, New Market, who died at his residence Thursday, will be today at 2 p.m. at Rice Baptist Church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Riner Boles; a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Sharp, Elora, Tenn; three sons, A. W. Boles, Mobile; Carson Boles, Gadsden; and Cecil Boles, Elora, Tenn; a brother, Edward Boles, New Market; 31 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Alta Maude Jones of 1003 Locust Ave., who died Monday in a local nursing home will be today at 2 p.m. at Jones Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rice Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Joe E. Jones of Huntsville; two daughters, Mrs. Enith Wilbourn and Mrs. Dirine Thornton, both of Huntsville; two brothers, Loney Wright of New Market and Ed Wright of Birmingham; a sister, Mrs. Ethie Honea of New Market; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandaughter.
