NORRIS CEMETERY LOCATION: Section 14-2-2E. NW NW SW, on hill overlooking Hurricane Creek and Valley on east aide of Ray Road. Mr. W. Howard Norris, a grandson of William E. Norris, escorted me to this family cemetery and the extra information (except marriage records and census) was supplied by him. NORRIS - Robert L. - 1810 - 1890 ) All shared a common headstone. Robert L. and Caroline ) are the parents of William E. and Leander. Margaret is NORRIS - Caroline - 1811 - 1889 ) the wife of William E. ) NORRIS - William E. - 1835 - 1920 ) ) Note: Madison County Death Records state that Margaret NORRIS - Margaret - 1840 - 1885 ) Norris died Nov. 15, 1884 aged 35 years; died of "Puerperal ) fever in Hayes Store community. Place of birth unknown; NORRIS - Leander H. - 1840 - 1919 ) was a housewife. NORRIS - Miss Anna Norris - Born 1869 - (Died) Oct. 14, 1948 NORRIS - William A. Norris - Born 1864 - (Died) Oct. 22, 1948 (Note: William was named William Ausborn after "a Yankee soldier") CAMPBELL - Rachael Mary Campbell - Born 1842 - Died Feb. 10, 1917. (Note: Rachael Mary Campbell is the daughter of Robert L. and Caroline Norris, and a sister to William E. Norris. She married Morgan Campbell Dec. 17, 1873 (MB-7) and died of a respitory ailment. CAMPBELL - Morgan Campbell - Died July 6, 1908 Age 69 Yrs. CAMPBELL - Robert B. Campbell - Born Nov. 7, 1882 - Died Mar. 3, 1937. (Note: Robert B. is the son of Rachael and Morgan Campbell). CAMPBELL - Ollie W. Campbell - 1886 - 1953 (Note: Ollie W. Campbell is also a son of Rachael and Morgan Campbell.) Census, Nov. 1, 1850 Norris, R. S. 41 S. C. Farmer - $500 Caroline 40 Tenn.
