PRAY - Benton H. - 1927 - 1969 ) CLARENCE RAY OBITUARY (From Huntsville News, Sept. 24, 1968 A prominent Hurricane Creek Communi farmer, Clarence Leo Ray, died suddenly Monday at his home of an apparent heart attack. Ray, 47, was a life-long Madison County resident and a veteran of World War II. Services are scheduled Wednesday at Cameron Methodist Church, the Rev. Tom English and the Rev. Hobart Miller officiating. Burial will be in Cameron Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louise Campbell Ray; two sons, Jimmy and Mack Ray; parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Ray of New Market; one brother, Murphree Ray, New Market; six sisters, Mrs. Dickie Bobo, Hazel Green; Mrs. A. W. Brooks, New Market; Mrs. Odell Tipton, New Market; Mrs. Bobby Edwards, New Market; Mrs. Leo Miller and Mrs. Doyle Brady both of Huntsville Pallbearers will be Walter Hillis, Joe Ed McCord, Ray Fanning, Pete Harbin, James Campbell, and Henry Rodgers.
