GREENE - Charles Alton Greene Sr. [Note: The following obituary is from the Huntsville News of Dec. 24, 1970.] A funeral for Charles Alton Greene Sr., 58 will be held this morning at 11 a. m. from the Cameron Methodist Church near Maysville with the Rev. Billy Ivey officiating. Burial will be in the Cameron Cemetery. Spry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel D. Greene, four sons, Charles Greene Jr., William H. Greene, Jim Green, all of Huntsville, and James A. Greene of Detroit, Mich., three daughters, Mrs. Nadine Hyatt, Mrs. Mary Phillips and Mrs. Nelta Jo Weber, all of Huntsville, three brothers, O. L. Greene of Atlanta, Floyd Greene and Clarence Greene, both of New Market and 18 grandchildren. [Note: At the time this cemetery was copied there was no tombstone for Mr. Greene.]
