Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. NOTE: There is a note in the cemetery records of Pauline Gandrud and Kathleen Jones stating that when they canvassed this cemetery, before 1930, there was a stone of an Armistead child in it plus others which were badly broken. When I visited this graveyard in the winter of 1970 the Armistead stone was not to be found. The above were the only stones left in this cemetery. McBRIDE CEMETERY LOCATION: Section 34-2S-1E S/2 SE NE. This cemetery is now on the edge of a man-made lake off Bradford Lane. There are no stones here now. An elderly man who had lived in the community all his life said that at one time there were several tombstones here but since the area has been developed they have all disappeared. I have no idea who is buried here other than they were McBride family members. 229 - (833)
