??"??" Unmarked grave here. This may be the grave of G. W. Criner listed on the last page. CRINER - Eleanor Criner, Wife of Jo. Criner, Born July 20, 1783 - Died Sept. 5th 1842. CRINER - Joseph Criner, Sen., Born Feb. 15th 1767 - Died Oct. 11th 1843.
Note: The three stones above were hand-carved fieldstones. These graves are in the center of the graveyard and are undoubtedly the oldest stones in the cemetery. Joseph Criner was the uncle of Isaac Criner and was one of Madison County's first settlers.
