Gurley. Thos. P. Gurley. Born Feb. 20, 1840 - Died Aug. 31, 1901 [CSA Marker No. 251 on grave] Obituary in The Gurley Herald of Sept. 5, 1901. Mr. T. P. Gurley, brother of Capt. F[rank] B. Gurley, died at his home near here Saturday morning. Mr. Gurley was highly respected and his many friends will be pained to learn of his death. His body was laid to eternal rest in the City [Gurley] Cemetery Sunday. [Note: This is Thomas P. Gurley.]
