Dr. Frances Cabaniss Roberts was a descendent of early Huntsville settlers and a long-time resident of Huntsville where she was a prominent local historian, history teacher at Huntsville High School, and one of the first faculty members at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. This extensive collection (90,000+ images) reflects the education, social, religious, musical, and literary life of Huntsville.
