Henry was son of Jackson Curry Archer of Tuscumbia, Alabama and Martha was daughter of George Throneberry and Charlotte Elizabeth (Shumate) Throneberry, of Grundy Co., Tennessee. (ROW 3) ARCHER, THOMAS J., JR., JUNE 24, 1937 - JULY 28, 1937. (ROW 3) Thomas J. Archer and Emma Mae Elmore married 17 August 1935, in Madison Co. , Alabama. Marriage was performed by S. S. Hacher, M.G. Thomas was 21 and Emma was 18. These were their only-children. Thomas and Emma divorced. Emma married Homer Mefford and had three daughters, Gerry (married Smith), Diane (married Jones) and Kathy (married Ogles). Emma's parents were Richard Paris and Winnie Arizona (Herron) Elmore. Arizona was a daughter of Gabe Herron and his first wife. Both the Elmores and Herrons were from Putnam Co., Tennessee. The Elmore children were William Virgil, Emma Mae and Winnie Odell (married Harold Neymark.) . Thomas was son of William Charles and Ida (Lowery) Archer. Ida was daughter of Thomas H. and Rebecca (Crossley) Lowery. Rebecca had six children. After Rebecca's death Thomas Lowery married Emma McBride. Emma Lowery then had five children. (ROW 31) BAKER, CLAREE, MAR. 20, 1921 - JAN. 17, 1924. (ROW 29) Compiler thinks this may be a child of Clarence and Nina (Allen) Baker. Clarence, an overseer in Merrimack Mfg. Co., was son of Thomas L. and Mary E. Baker. The Baker family was from New Hope, Alabama. Nina was daughter of Dell Allen of Georgia, and Thelma (Biggs) Allen from Kansas. Nina died Nov. 11, 1933, after an illness of four years. She is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery. Other children of Clarence and Nina were Ila, Irma, Elsie and Clarence Dell Baker. BAKER, ELIZABETH, MAR. 7, 1831 - JAN. 31, 1905. (ROW 8) Compiler thinks Elizabeth married a Sam Baker in Tennessee. She and Sam are listed in 1880, and she is listed in 1900, with a son Sam, born 1875. Elizabeth was born in Tennessee as were her older children. Their children in the home in 1880, were W. H. , Maggie, Sarah, Lucie, Nicie, Carrie, Kate, Emma, Sam and N. James. Minnie (Arminta) had married William Cleveland in 1875. The family moved to Madison Co., Alabama before 1864, when their fifth child was born in Alabama. A Sam Baker died of pneumonia on Nov. 14, 1881, 11 - (1317)
