One stone for both graves. Joseph Andrew Bell was born in Tennessee, but lived for a time in Hartselle, Alabama before living in Huntsville. He was descended from an American Indian. Maudie Pearl was a McLemore before her marriage. Her right hand was shrunken and partially paralyzed by polio when she was a child, but she overcame her handicap and was able to do everything that needed to be done. Joseph Andrew and Maudie Pearl (McLemore) Bell had four children who died in infancy. Source does not know the names, dates or place in cemetery of the other two. MO STONE BERRYHILL, FLORENCE E., 1880 - 19 __ (Nov. 12, 1954). (ROW 13) BERRYHILL, ORVILLE JULY 20, 1915 OCT. 29, 1986. (ROW 13) Archie Berryhill died Dec. 4, 1947, while trying to help disconnect two cars whose bumpers were hooked together. His skull was fractured. Archie L. and Florence Baucom married about 1889, in Tennessee. Children of Archie and Florence (Baucom) Berryhill were Claude L., born about 1905, Daisy Mae, born about 1902, (married Belvard Church), Clyde E., born about 1905, Bertie M., born about 1910, married George Franklin Reavis, and Orville, born 1915. Archie was son of Francis Marion and Sarah Elizabeth (Helton) Berryhill of Franklin Co., Tennessee. Francis M. Berryhill was born Mar. 8, 1851, died in Madison Co., Alabama Jan. 29, 1915. Sarah Elizabeth Helton Berryhill was born Aug. 8, 1865, in Tennessee and died Apr 16, 1919 in Madison Co., buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Huntsville, Alabama. Family records show the death date of Florence as Nov. 12, 1954. Claude was first child of Archie and Florence (Baucom) Berryhill. Orville Berryhill was the last person buried in Merrimack Cemetery. He was the youngest son of Archie and Florence Berryhill. He was born July 20, 1915, and died October 29, 1986. At the time of his death he had two sons, Buddy, of Huntsville, and David E. of Georgia., and three grand-children. Compiler found two marriages recorded in Probate Office, Madison Co., Alabama. In 1932, April 16, he obtained a license to marry Johnie Bradley. On Oct. 14, 1935, he was granted a license to marry Lucy Jane Caneer. Sources: William Reavis. Jean Treece. Randell Church.
