(ROW 31) Adam Bragg was a son of Spencer Dozier Bragg and Mary (Davenport) Bragg of Cannon Co., Tennessee. Spencer was a son of Dozier and Sarah Bragg. Mary was a daughter of Thomas and Mary E. Davenport of Woodbury, Cannon Co., Tennessee. Adam's first marriage was to Bulah Barrett, daughter of Granville and Virgie (Bryson) Barrett, also of Cannon Co., Tennessee. Bulah and Adam had two children, Margrat Mae and a son Willie. The Bragg family Bible gives Margrat Mae's death date as Aug. 16, 1924. Bulah died Mar. 1, 1925. Her parents are also buried in Merrimack Cemetery. On January 9, 1926, Adam married Louise South, daughter of Henry E. and Turley F. South. Her first husband was Howard Winkler. Louise and Adam Bragg were parents of four children, Adam, Bill, Faye (married Woodard), and Cherry (married a Thomas) and Doris a baby born dead. Thomas was born in Feb. 1868, in Virginia. Lena was a daughter of Andrew J. and Charlotte S. (Worley) Cobb, farmers in Owens Cross Roads, Madison Co., Alabama. Thomas and Lena married in Madison Co., Mar. 15, 1894. Lena, born Feb. 1879, was age fifteen at the time of marriage. By 1910, the family was in Lowe Mill Village, West Huntsville and had four children in the home. They were Richard, born 1890, Mary L., born about 1903, Lucy M., born about 1906, and Wiley, born about 1908. Andrew's grandparents were Adams and Nancy Cobb and N. C. Worley. (ROW 24) Full names were Ellen Geneva and Annie Lorene Brewer. Rebecca Allen and William Brewer married Apr. 30, 1921. These little girls were the first two children of this couple. Rebecca Allen, born July 2, 1901, was daughter of Isaac Denton and Annie Elisabeth (Swendell) Allen of White Co., Tennessee. She died Dec. 28, 1974.
