NO STONE Lee (Crews) and Wheeler Chambliss were the parents of this child. Doris had two brothers, Oliver and Paul, and three sisters, Mildred, Martha Etta, and Bettie Mae Chamblies. CHAMBLIES, LEE, DEC. 27, 1934, AGE 37. NO STONE Lee was a daughter of Will and Lizzie (Stubblefield) Crews. She married Wheeler Chamblies July 24, 1920, in Madison Co., Alabama. She and Wheeler had six children: Oliver, Paul, Mildred, Doris, Martha Etta, and Bettie Mae. Doris died at the age of eight in 1935. Mr. Chamblies came from Marshall Co., Alabama. Wheeler Chamblies. Her first husband was Mr. Morgan. When Lee (Crews) Chamblies died Lillie Morgan became the housekeeper for the family and married Wheeler June 29, 1935. It was the second marriage for both. Lillie was age 47 at the time of the marriage. She was born in Alabama. At her death she had no family other than her husband. R., AUG. 5, 1927 - JAN. 4, 1929, SON OF MR. AND MRS. H. H. CHILDERS. (ROW 32) This was a son of Holland and Anna, or Annie, (Webster) Childers. Their marriage took place Mar. 3, 1924, in Madison Co. Alabama. Anna was a daughter of Samuel and Laura E. Webster, who lived in Colliers, Madison Co. in 1920. She was born about 1906. Holland was born about 1905. Holland and Anna hd another son, Jack Childers. Later Anna married Sam Easley and they had a daughter, Nell Rose Easley, who died in Dec., 1939, and is buried in Merrimack Cemetery.
