NO STONE CHURCH, HOWARD, JAN. 8, 1920 - JAN. 14, 1920. (ROW 14) (in Berryhill fenced-in plot) Daisy Berryhill and Belvard Church, who married Mar. 5, 1919, in Madison Co., Alabama, were the parents of these children. In 1997, Howard is the only one with a stone. One is in a small baby bed size fenced area. The others are in the family plot with the Berryhill family. Daisy was daughter of Archie L. and Florence (Baucom) Berryhill. She was born Aug. 14, 1902, died Sept. 8, 1988, and is buried in Valhalla Cemetery, Huntsville, Alabama. Other children of the Berryhills were Claude, Clide, Bertie and Orville. Archie and Florence Berryhill are buried in Merrimack Cemetery, as is Orville Berryhill. Belvard was a son of William Thomas Church and Molly (Neal) Church of Franklin Co., Tennessee. Belvard was born July 12, 1901, and died Nov. 22, 1937. He had been in the U. S. Navy in WWI. Other than the children who died Daisy and Belvard were parents of Ellen, Helen, Peggy and Jean. Later Randall Church was born to Daisy. Other children of Molly and William T. were Frank and Goldie Church. Goldie Church married Burma Sparks June 10, 1927. Molly (Neal) Church died and is buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery, near Winchester, Tennessee. Belvard is buried there also. William Thomas Church married a second time on Sept. 11, 1912, in Madison Co. to Mary Bessie Mahaffey, daughter of William and Mary Mahaffey, and their children were Bessie, William Brooks, Walter T., Mary, Juanita, and James Howard who died as infant (buried Maple Hill Cemetery). (ROW 11) This was a son of George and Maggie (Jones) Cleveland. He died of tuberculosis Aug. 3, 1933. He was ill for two years before his death. He was unmarried. Other children of George and Maggie Cleveland were Jessie Lee, Ernest and Lawrence. Maggie died in 1916, and is buried in Jackson Co., Alabama. George was son of Arminda (Baker) Cleveland and William Cleveland who married Oct. 24, 1875, in Madison Co., Alabama. William died before Oct. 1895, when Arminda Elizabeth married Harvey Echols. George's siblings were Lee, Robert, Arch, Lula, Beula and Willie Cleveland. Beula married John Potter. Beula and John Potter and Arminda and Harvey Echols are buried in Merrimack Cemetery.
