Virgil married Gertrude Bertus Dec. 13, 1931, Madison Co., Alabama. About 1913, James and Ada separated. James was a barber by profession and died in Nashville in 1964. Sources: Louis E. Davis. (ROW 13) DAY INFANT SDN, BORN AND DIED JAN. 18, 1933. (Row 13) Callie was a daughter of James B. and Alice (Vinson) Spurlock, and wife of Joe Day. Joe, a mechanic, was a son of Annie Day of Tennessee. Joe was born in Alabama. He served in France in WWI. This infant was the fifth child of Callie and Joe Day. On Jan. 18, Callie gave birth to a son who died in a short time. Callie lived nine hours after the birth then died on Jan. 19, 1933. The other children of Callie and Joe were Evelyn, Joel, Geraldine, and James Day. Mother and baby are buried together. Some time after their deaths Joe remarried. Please see Spurlock entry. (ROW 21) Sam Dobbs was born in Billingsly, Autauga Co., Alabama. In 1900, Sam and his brother Dee C. lived in the home of Robert Beasley and Susan Beasley, their mother, who had married about 1894. In 1910, he was living with his brother, Grover, and Grover's family, wife Rosa, son Grover C., age 3. Dee Dobbs (Grover) married Rosa Hucks, Aug. 31, 1904, in Madison Co., Alabama. Maulsby, Children of Industrial Huntsville. DRAWHORN, C. B., MAR. 6, 1893 - JAN. 27, 1927. (ROW 35) This is Cherry B. Lemley, daughter of Sallie (Turner) and William Henderson Lemley. Sallie and William married in 1878. Cherry and Charles W. Drawhorn married in Madison Co., Alabama, Sept. 9, 1911. They had two children, Fred and Lena Ruth. After Cherry died Charles married Letar Melton, daughter of Sallie (Bailey) and Okley Melton. Letar was born Oct. 17, 1898 and died in November 1979.
