LIZZIE, DIED NOV. 15, 1906, AGE 16 YR., 1 MO., 11 DA. (ROW 13) Lizzie, or Elizabeth, was a daughter of Henry and Celia Adeline Fowler of Guin, Marion Co., Alabama. In 1900, the family was in Guin with Minnie, Elizabeth, William, Maggie, Idelia, and Rushton. In the 1910 census Adeline said she had eight children, six lived. Elizabeth or Lizzie was not listed in 1910, but Fred, age 2, was the youngest child. Henry's mother was Sara Fowler, born April 1835, in Georgia. Sources: Ann G. (ROW 39) FRANKLIN, W. E., OCT. 27, 1868 - MAR. 26, 1923. (ROW 32) William E. and Ida Jane (Hall) Franklin were from Winchester, Franklin Co., Tennessee. Their children were Richard, Hattie, Garland, Lenora, Sanford, Lee, Mattie, Wilburn S. , William A. and Lillie M. Franklin. Hattie married Lockard Campbell, who is buried in Merrimack Cemetery. Garland married after 1920, to Gadget McGee, daughter of Wesley and Jennie (Pitts) McGee of McGee Hollow, near Kelso, Tennessee. Mira was their daughter. Source: Mrs. Fred Carter. (ROW 20) This was Henry Harrison Gambrell, a son of Andrew and Evelyn Gambrell. Harrison was born in Jan. 1888, in Tennessee. He and Etta married before 1914, in Tennessee. Etta was born about 1895, also in Tennessee. In 1920, their children were Dallas, born about 1914, Lillard, born about 1916, both in Tennessee, and Glenice M., born about 1918, in Alabama. After 1920, they had a daughter, Lilly Mae. Dallas married Berta Shannon Dec. 22, 1934. One of their children was Doris Elizabeth who died at the age of two years. She is buried in Merrimack Cemetery. Other children of Dallas and Berta were Donald, Barbara, Betty and Eugene. Lillard married Ethel Comer Collins. Lillard died Apr. 4, 1979, Ethel died Sept. 15, 1996. They are buried in Maple Hill Cemetery. Lillard and Comer were parents of Geraldine, Lillard Wayne, and Cora Sherine. Sherine married W. H. Cash. Glenice died before 1950. Lilly Mae married Virgil Harris, divorced and married Lloyd Cagle. This person's obituary mentions H. H. Gambrell, but his funeral marker or stone, now missing, says Gamble.
