LANDRUM, NOAH, 1882 - 1938. (ROW 2) Noah was born Oct. 10, 1882. He died from sunstroke on July 22, 1938. His was the fourth death in Madison Co. caused by the heat that summer. Noah and Martha Bussel married Dec. 23, 1925, in Madison Co. , Alabama. In 1929, Mr. Landrum was repairman employed by Mason Furniture Co. in downtown Huntsville. (ROW 27) Charles John Lang died in south Alabama and the body was shipped to Huntsville on Oct. 12, according to his obituary. His parents were Dan and Lonnie (Herlston) Lang. Charlie was sick about three days before he died of something like polio. He had two sisters: Grade Mae who married James Henry Cain and Ruth Juanita Lang who married Charlie Owens of Wetumpka, Alabama. Dan and Lonnie divorced and Lonnie later married a Mr. Brandon. Lonnie was buried in Huntsville Memory Garden on May 18, 1970. Dan was buried Nov. 18, 1968, in Maple Hill Cemetery. Sources: Grade Lang Cain (Mrs. J. H.). (ROW 41) Jesse D. and Nellena Hambry Langley were the parents of this baby. Nellena was a daughter of George Hambry. At the time of George Clifton's death they had one other child, Daphne Langley. LANGSTON, DELBERT G., AUG. 23, 1912 - APR. 29, 1938. (ROW 5) Delbert died with pneumonia when he was 26 years of age. His parents were Charles J. and Elsie Emaline (Henshaw) Langston of Jackson Co., Alabama. He married Marjorie Bowlin Dec. 11, 1931, in Madison Co., Alabama. They had two sons, Jerry and Welland Langston. His family moved to Huntsville about 1923. He had one brother, Leonard F., and three sisters, Minnie Young, Grace Young, and Mattie Miller. Delbert's father, Charlie, son of Felix and Elizabeth (Hamilton) Langston married Florence Bolin, widow of William Bolin after Elsie's death.
