Jesse's parents were Frank and Alice Moyers who married about 1887 and had twelve children. Eight of these children were living in 1910. In 1920, Jesse worked for a furniture store and the family lived on 9th Ave., Lowe Mill Village. Ida and Jesse had a child, Tom, born about 1918. Ida died in May, 1922. (ROW 41) Mr. Musgrove was son of Jerry and Susie Isbille Musgrove of Haleyville, Winston Co., Alabama. In Hardin Co., Savannah, Tennessee, he married Minnie Stewart who was born about 1885, in that place. Minnie died in 1955, in Florence, Alabama. Cal and Minnie lived in Hardin Co. where six of their children were born. Shortly after the birth of the seventh child in Wayne Co., Tennessee, they moved to Merrimack Village, Huntsville. On the July day in 1922, Cal fell in a well not far from the Merrimack Mill property and drowned before he could be rescued. Minnie worked in the mill for a while. She and Cal's sister, Betty, who married a Mr. Simon, worked different shifts and took turns caring for the children. Then Minnie stayed home and took in boarders. When the sons were able to help with work, the family moved back to Hardin Co., Tennessee, and rented a farm from a nephew. The mother and older children farmed the land. The children of Minnie and Cal were John Colcher, William Charley, Clyde Boyd, James Daniel, Garland (died as infant), Lana May and Iness Ray Musgrove.
