This baby girl died May 19, 1934. She was the fourth child
of Polete I. (or L.) and Harley Smith who lived on 9th Ave. in 1930. The other children were Douglas, Ernest and Gladys.

SMOOT, CORA L., DEC. 6, 1873 - JAN. 18, 1927. (ROW 28)
Cora Chandler married John W. Smoot on Nov. 17, 1895, in
Madison Co., Alabama.
Cora was a daughter of Henry and Louisa Chandler who lived in Limestone Co., Alabama, in 1880. Their children were Luda, Alice, Elisebeth, John, Cora, and Ida.
John, born about 1873, died between 1910, and 1920. He was a son of Wyatt and Sarah Smoot, who lived in Morgan Co., Alabama, in 1880.
Cora and John were parents of Wyatt, Oula, Will, Otis, Beulah, Edgar, Nellie and Neoma.

SPEEGLE, ROLAND EUGENE, BORN AND DIED 1938. NO STONE
This was a son of Ted and Cordie (Throneberry) Speegle.
Ted Speegle and Cordie married in Mar. 1931. It was the second marriage for both of them. Ted had two sons from a previous marriage, J. T. and Gordon. Norman and Donald Wayne and Roland were sons of Ted and Cordie, and Roy H. Baker was the son of Cordie and her first husband.
Cordie was born in Tennessee about 1906. She was a daughter of George and Charlotte Elizabeth (Shumake) Throneberry.
Ted was born in Alabama and possibly was a son of T. K. and Myrtis Speegle.
Ted died in July of 1975. Cordie died in June of 1978. Both are buried in Valhalla Memory Garden.

Compiler has no knowledge of Mr. Spry. One J. Harvey Spry married Georgia Ann Davis in Madison Co., Alabama, on Dec. 14, 1915.
Also Mr. Harvey Spry married Nora Watkins, Mar. 18, 1918.
