Edward was a son of Harve T. Thompson who moved from Lincoln Co., Tennessee to Huntsville in or before 1910. His mother, Elizabeth (Wiliams) Thompson, died in 1918, during the flu epidemic. Harve remained a widower until his death in 1941. Both are buried in Maple Hill Cemetery. The children of Harve and Elizabeth (Williams) Thompson were Edward, Hoyt, Malcomb Reese, Elzie (married Hendrick), Edna (married McDonald) and Mamie (married White). (ROW 26) THRONEBERRY, GEORGE W., 1866 ??" 1940. (ROW 3) George and Charlotte Elizabeth "Lizzie" Shumate married about 1888, in Tennessee. One day one of George's arms was cut off as he was helping his family make molasses. His mother treated and cared for the wound. He was not handicapped by this loss for he made molasses in Merrimack and cultivated vegetable gardens. George died of a heart attack just after he had picked fresh vegetables from his garden for his daughter Ellen. Children of George and Lizzie were Ellen, Florence, Lexie, James, Irene, Cordie, and Gertrude. All were born in Tennessee except Gertrude, who was born in Merrimack village. (ROW 37) Arthur was a son of Albert and America Tripp who lived in Lincoln Cd., Tennessee in 1880. Compiler thinks Albert was a son of Nancy Tripp because at age 75 she was next to his family on the census list. Arthur's younger sisters and brothers in the home in 1900, were Neallie, Susan, Aldo, Lonny 0., Julia E., and William Tripp. America was widowed by that time. In 1920, Arthur and his daughter Lillie, born about 1913, were living with his sister Aldo, called Allie, and her husband, Jim Gulley who were in Cluttsville, Madison Co., Alabama. (ROW 10) Isaac Houston Tucker, of Pelham, Tennessee, and Florence Rebecca Parmley Tucker married in Tennessee. Isaac was an elevator operator for Merrimack Mfg. Co. for about four years before he died. At his death he was survived by Florence Rebecca and the following children: Clarence Tucker, of Huntsville, William Ernest of Drift, Kentucky, John Lawrence Tucker of Portland, 97 - (1403)
