They were the parents of two sons: James and Samuel. He also had several half siblings: D. Ward, Charlie Ward, Mrs. Hal Pritchett, Mrs. Ed Hellis, and Mrs. Victoria Cardin. Martha was a daughter of Richard and Susan Kaiser Brewer. She was born Apr., 1892, in Tennessee. The family lived in Merrimack in 1910. Warren married about 1877, had seven children and was a widow by 1900. Her children were Joshua, Samuel, Effie, Thomas, Annie, Hallie Lee, and Alder Mae. Some of the children were born in Moore Co. or Franklin Co., Tennessee. In 1900, the family lived in Lincoln Co., Tennessee. By 1908, Laura and some of the children were in Huntsville. Mittie Geraldine Underhill married Herman Nov. 17, 1927, in Madison Co. Alabama. Mittie was born about 1909, in Alabama. Herman, born about 1907, in Tennessee. He was a son of George W. and Nellie B. Watley. In 1920, the family had moved from Tennessee to Merrimack Village where his brother Roy and sister Ruby worked in the Merrimack Mfg. Co. Also in the home was Herman's sister Margie L. Watley. (ROW 36) Rogers was a son of Hosea and Essie Bell (Newby) Watson. Essie was a daughter of Thomas Alfred and Fannie (Dozier) Newby. The Newby family farmed their land in Madison Cross Roads, Madison Co. Alabama, where their children were born. Essie Bell was born in Mar. 1901. Mamie, Herbert, Roy Martin, Betty Faye and Thomas A. Newby were other children of Thomas Alfred and Fannie. Hosea was a son of Florence Chaney and Lucius C. Watson of Dutton, Cherokee Co., Alabama. He was born Nov. 1, 1897. L. C. Watson was a professional photographer in Merrimack in the 1920s. Hosea served in WWI from March 1, 1918, to Dec. 15, 1918. At the time of his marriage to Essie Newby, July 3, 1922, his occupation was listed as ball player. Essie was a spooler 100 - (1406)
