Right side: Albert A. Baker. Born April 3, 1828 - died July 21, 1901. [Note: A native of New York, he opened a monument company on the west side of Washington Street near the Square in 1851. Many of the handsome monuments in this cemetery were produced in his shop.]

2, 1891. [Note: Judge Peter Myndert Dox moved to Huntsville in 1856. He was a member of the 2nd Constitutional Convention of 1865, a member of Congress 1869-1873, and a noted jurist.]
BANKHEAD In tender memory of Adalaide Eugene beloved wife of Wm. B[rockman] Bankhead. Born July 14, 1880 - died Feb. 23, 1902. [Note: She was the wife of William Brockman Bankhead, a member of the House of Representatives from 1916 and Speaker of the House from 1936 until his death in 1940. She was the mother of the noted actress-film star, Tallulah Bankhead, but died shortly after Tallulah's birth.]
