[Nothing has been found of the Parkhills in Madison County except for two marriage records by men of that surname - but not “J. E.” - in the 1860s.
There were no Parkhills found in the county in the census records for 1860, 1870, 1910, or 1920. There is also no record of a Parkhill burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.]
