After all of the research into Love family association with the land of the arsenal, it leaves the question open as to why the cemetery has been known as the Jordan Cemetery. A check of older land records puts some light upon that question, beginning in 1818 with Nancy Auld's purchase (as “devisee” of Isaac Jackson, deceased - who likewise figured in the land dealing associated with the Jones Cemetery, 37-5) from the government of the NW/4 of S5-T5-R1W, where the cemetery is located:
