A check of older land records puts some light upon that question, beginning in 1818 with Nancy Auld's purchase (as “devisee” of Isaac Jackson, deceased - who likewise figured in the land dealing associated with the Jones Cemetery, 37-5) from the government of the NW/4 of S5-T5-R1W, where the cemetery is located: 27 - (1927)
