This record (above) seems to confirm the relationship of Samuel H., Kate F., and David L. Moore as children of Martha L. Moore. Close examination of the 1850 census page show that a Benjamin Harrison was also in the household headed by Martha L. Moore. Martha was born in Virginia and is shown as age 36. Benjamin Harrison was born in Virginia and shown as age 67. The ages and birthplaces indicate a possibility of a father and daughter relationship between them. An examination of the probate records can confirm that relationship beyond doubt, but that has not yet been accomplished. 27 - (1958)
