The INDEX TO LANDS by G. W. Jones & Sons, Inc., shows the transitions of ownership of the Northwest Quarter (highlighted with blue lines) of Section 26, Township 4, Range 2 West, through the 1800s: This data shows that William H. “Robinson” got the land in 1841. Actually, there was a recording error, as it should be William H. Robertson, the Administrator of the estate of Isaac Inman. Mr. Robertson sold the land to Richard Holding in 1844, and Richard Holding was a plantation owner with land where the international airport is now located. He was apparently very 24 - (2232)
