Emeline - Inman Cemetery, 62-1 Summary Report, page 47

Emeline/ Inman Cemetery, Redstone Arsenal, Madison Co. AL, March 11, 2003 Stones at east end of cemetery -- Headstone and footstone for Rev. J.E. Jones in foreground; military stone for Corpl. G.R. Blackburn at base of large tree (left background); uninscribed stone at right upper background. '-Kt*; imp • -V,- W5w ■ This small cluster of markers in the Inman Cemetery includes the mostly-buried tombstone of Rev. John E. Jones. The census records never identified his occupation as a preacher, so it was probably a “dual occupation” for a self-supporting preacher. The tombstone appears to have a “7” etched over the “6” in the birth year of 1865, but the census records consistently show that 1865 is correct. 47 - (2255)
