The name of Conrad Wall does not appear again with respect to any other land transaction in Madison County records examined to date, nor in the census records for the county. Moreover, it is not included in the family histories for the Madison County Walls. Even more strange, the date of the sale of this land by Conrad Wall falls within the lifetime of Alexander G. Wall, who died in 1836. Therefore, it is not likely that ownership of the land passed by 5 - (2639)
