Probate Record Book 33. page 60: WALL. Mary dec'd. Petition to sell the land. Kennon H. Steger. Administrator. She died about the 13th of February 1869 and was the Widow of Alexander WALL dec'd. During her marriage she had the following Children by her said husband: Mary Steger, Wife of Kennon H. Steger (applicant); Alfred A. WALL; SallyC. Lacy, Widow of Alexander Lacy dec'd; James T. WALL who died in the lifetime of the intestate and left surviving only one child named William WALL, who is over 14 and Helen G. WALL who died in the lifetime of the intestate, under 21, and unmarried. Mary Steger, Alfred A. WALL and Sally C. Lacy arc over 21, William WALL is an infant over 14, with no parent in life and is now under the care of his Grandfather Thomas H. Cawthon; all reside in Madison Co.. Ala. 19 Nov. 1870.
