The land index by G. W. Jones Inc. as provided earlier on page 3 of this report shows that by 1912, James Chapman had also acquired a portion of the land around the cemetery from John W. Woodward and his wife Sallie. Less than a year later, John W. Woodward was deceased, as noted from the census records that were explained earlier and from the specific date on his tombstone.
