No marriage record for William and Annie Eliza Timmons was found in the Madison County archives. However, family tradition states that Annie was born in Limestone County, so there could be a marriage record for them there, but it was not found in the state-wide listings or early newspaper notices. Without a marriage record, Annie's maiden surname cannot be ascertained from records acquired to date. This is one of the difficulties of genealogical research, just as mentioned before, when it was not found where Margaret Finch was enumerated (if indeed she was) in the 1870 census records. 25 - (2974)
