The deed executed in 1835 between Henry Finch (brother of James) and Hughy Smith of pre-arsenal lands (See Smith Cemetery, 72-2, Summary Report) was registered in 1847. It transferred the ownership of the SW/4 of S20-T5-R1W away from the Finch family:
