Timmons Cemetery, 89-1 Summary Report, page 110

It is noteworthy that William Timmons “made right” his debt owed to his wife for the war as soon after its end as he was able. When he set up this arrangement with William Weeden as Trustee, William Timmons was still young, being only 30 years old. He actually lived until 1906, so this action was not taken in anticipation of an impending demise. It apparently was simply what it purported to be - a way for William to assure that his wife and children were covered adequately for future needs, no matter what happened to him. William Hardie Timmons made no last will and testament before he died, per the record filed below with the Madison County Probate Court. 110 - (3059)
