FOOTNOTES
Buried in the Bradley plot marked only as “Father” and “Mother” are Joseph Colville Bradley who was born in 1808 at Abingdon, Virginia. Mr. Bradley was a prominent Republican in Huntsville, the owner of the Huntsville Hotel and active in the rehabilitation of Confederate sympathizers in reconstruction Huntsville. His wife, Isabella Clarke, was the daughter of William Clarke. See pages 14 and 15.
