Lucy Fisher Lacy was one of the six children of Jackson Fisher and Hannah Fisher. She was at least 70 years of age when the photo was taken. She died in the 1930's and was interred in Burton Cemetery. Depending on her birth date, she was either born a slave or “just down from slavery,” which is an expression taken from local Black people who were interviewed. Her son, Jackson, was Georgia Mae's father. 185 - (4218)
