A Confederate States of America monument states, “The Lost Cause. July 21, 1901. Furl that Banner, for 'tis weary.” This is the burial ground of nearly 200 unknown Confederate soldiers. Annette, daughter of Jno. M. & Rebecca Robertson was born July 14th 1846 and died Jan. 17th 1848. LOURIE Mary G., wife of the Hon. Sami. Lourie, was born April 24, 1781 and died Jan. 5th 1846.
